Chapter 5: The meeting

Every one was looking grave. Their face down, as if wanting to say something but picked with a feeling that things are not right. The dark hall was reflecting their images with dim lights all around. The place just had a few chairs and a roound table where the fallen faces of the grave men lie. Finally the silence was broken with a white beard man aged some where close to 75, 'I would agree that the demise of Guruji is a great loss to us, but that does not mean we sit back and do nothing. His demise has got us with more responsibilities. He was not just our mentor, our leader but a great visoinary who led us to the path of God and made us understand what is right and wrong.'
'Strangely, though we saw him that we was it by a person, his body was not found neither there has been some investigation put forward. The police has just said that he is missing and they are trying to find him out. Neither of us can go out nor we can put some one forward who could say that he is killed. The conditions of the country are very volatile and any such information would lead to voilence and jeopardise in the entire region. More killing and more bloodshed, the least our Guruji would have wanted. What shall we do.', the speaker went silent.
'The first thing that we could do is choosing a leader who would guide us with the proceedings.'
'I guess, Vishwa ji would be the best person to lead us in such a moment of disgrace. He is a man who used to help Guruji in all his works. He helped him acheive things. He was not scared of the politicians and their foul means. He got contacts among the top leaders and the industrialists in the country who could be of great help in our cause. '
Everyone nodded their heads in agreement.
'I have the similar views. He is the person who could give us a head start in such a case. but where is he now? Is he informed of the dealings here?'
'Ya he is and he is just coming by as soon as possible. He would be able to make for the meeting tomorrow. This place is no longer safe, we shall change the meeting location and i would bring Vishwa ji to the new place. Lets meet up at the jatuka Ghar. That place is far more remorse and inside and its easier to stay away from others now who might be looking for us. The death of Guruji must be known to others who now have got the clues about us.'
'And what happened to that book, which Guruji was having. It has got the secrets which we never want to reveal to the other world. '
'I am sure, the last things Guruji must have done is to destroy the book. But lets not take chances. IN tomorrow's meeting we shall decide the future course of the things and try to let a team search for it. '

Chapter 4 Whats Written?

After the classes got over, all the students were out of the class except two on two corners. The boy came near the girl and saw the girl doing something crazy. The girl was reading some old book with some unknown scribblings. The boy thought of having some fun, took the book and ran away. The girl asked to return the book but with a negative result. Soon, the girl started fighting and in no time the boy was lying on the floor. And the girl gave him a warning, 'Never mess with me or either you never see yourself again'. The guy was simply staring at the girl without a response. He never knew that a girl could be so strong to out fit him. He never spoke to that girl again, though the girl tried enough to befriend him. Might be he was afraid to believe the truth that he lost to a feminine character.
After eight years, that girl again flashed in his minds and the things that happened between them once upon a time. Dhruv knew that girl and read a lot about her. 'She has been into these kinds of language and stuffs. I believe she could help us a lot. She knows a lot of these languages and might even know what is written here and let us know why and for what did he tried to run away.', Dhruv exclaimed.
'Who is she?'
'She is Priyanka. A superb Journalist working for News today channel. You might have seen her on Television. She is well known for her documentaries on the frauds and Scandals that these famous Mahatmas used to do and find the truth behind them.'
'Ya, now i remember, the girl who speaks thousand language that no one understands. I got a chance to be with her and found that she talks a lot to her. Well then, lets not waste time and call her up immediately. Do u have any contacts with her?'
'No not really. We were class mates and after that we parted our ways.'
'Oh i see, Fine. Give me 30 minutes while she comes. Till that time lets go and have something. I am a hungry man now. And its 2 now.'
Both of them came to a room where food was being served. People were staring at Dhruv as he has not known there. There were hardly some 30 people including the minister. All the people knew each other really well. A new face was hardly seen in that place. Rajiv picked the telephone, placed on the corner of the Lounge and entered some numbers. He called up someone to help him out with Priyanka, the Journalist and to bring her to his office immediately.
Priyanka used to stay in Delhi. She was born and brought up in the streets of Delhi and the people here. After Dhruv's Father's death, he was brought to Delhi by one of his Father's friend. That is how they came to the same place "Delhi College of arts and Science".
After these people were done with their food, they came out of that secret place to enter Rajiv's Office. In some time, Dhruv could here an Auto coming and Stopping outside. His heart was beating fast, to know how she was, a girl who could beat her in a while.
Priyanka, got down from her Auto and came to the reception. She was asked to go to the Minister's room. As soon as she entered, she was surprised.
'Dhruv? How come you are here. Hi sir, i am Priyanka. Hope you remember me. Why am i called here.'
'Hi Priyanka.', Dhruv sneeked in. He could see a beautiful Woman standing infront of her. Her glowing eyes and her rosy lips, her perfect shape and her beautiful pony hair tail, was enough to make a gut like Dhruv to just stare at her. Dhruv lost his senses completely.
'Hi priyanka, take your seat. Now we are going to discuss something which is really important. It requires you to leave ur job of a journalist for a while as it needs closed lips when u leave this place.', Rajiv said in a strong command of the situation.
'May i know what is such a thing that i am asked to do such a thing.?'
'Well remember one thing, i know the hard ways of looking at things and you would be lost if you open your mouth outside.'
It was time for the trio to go back to the place where the mystery would reveal itself. Priyanka, though very much accustomed to such situations, was walking puzzled. Rajiv asked Priyanka, ‘Can I see your phone?’ She did not wait for a minute before handling the phone to the Minister. Rajiv dropped the phone into his pocket and kept walking as if nothing has happened, making no sense to her, of what he was doing. They reached the same place where the minister and Rajiv were a few minutes earlier. The same thing happened repeating again. This time it has a new face to stare at what was happening. They went inside and kept walking. Priyanka could look at the highly sophisticated instruments which were used here. She had the same intensity as Dhruv felt when he came here for the first time. She was awestruck. There were a number of highly sophisticated machines were a number of people worked to ensure things were working fine. The look and feel of the place was no less than a Hollywood movie where Tom Cruise would have worked. The entire vision was a treat to the eyes. Surrounded by one side glasses, with a solid metal base and the lights placed in the most efficient and the best place, the work environment was dazzling. The three this time, went down using the lift nearby and in a few seconds reached a place which was looking like a museum. The place was full of glass caged documents, artefacts and things which seemed to make a lot of impact on the history of the world. ‘Here lays the document containing the planning made by the Indus civilization to build their cities. The controversial document which Pakistan asked for saying that it belonged to them and India had stolen it from him and later the document was never found and so were the people who found it. Oh and look at this. What the hell!!! We still have this thing with us. The lost specimen of Dwarika Nagari. The world needed to see it and the treause is hidden here', Priyanka was fuming. Dhruv was just following them.
'Let not these things ride ou away from the thing we have come here. There are a lot more surprise and they are not for public display. Come here and see what i brought here for.'

Chapter 3: The Scene

'Why will some one kill him. He is a Saint. I used to listen to him every time i felt low. Oh! Guruji'. Dhruv was looking at the dead body of Mahatma Swaminanda Ji. He is well known as Guruji. People loved him because of his simplicity and his devout to God. He was missing from the last two days. Police was searching him and his body lied here calmly, as if it was speaking thousand words. Every one in that room was silent. Dhruv and Rajiv were looking at the Dead body and others were looking at their faces.
'Professor, i know its a shock for you, but believe me none of us wanted this to happen. It was a coincidence. And to reveal the mystery had Guruji has always buried inside his heart, i called you here.'
'But who killed him and why? Are you people someway related to this death?'
'This happened two days ago. One of our security Guards, was stationed at the Nalanda institute, which is now ruins. This day he finds some five to seven men entering the place and later none was visible. The guard was confused. He searched for the people all day long but could not get any of them. Later in the evening, he finds someone walking near the same place. He calls that person, but the person runs. He is holding a book with him. The guard thought he is stealing something from this place. He asks the person to stop otherwise he gives warning that he will shoot. The person speed ed up. The guard was confused and fired on his leg. The same time that person bow down and threw the book into the fire burning nearby. The bullet hit his back and the person stumbled to death. Later the Guard found it was Guruji. When he saw the book, he just found a page which was not burnt. He got the entire set of the ashes with himself. There are bits and pieces left. But the mystery is, what was contained in that book that Guruji did not stop even at the warning. Who were those people. The page we found, was written in an old Indian language and makes little sense to us. I have read a number of Journals written by you regarding such languages which used to exist. I thought, you would be the best person to be called.', Rajiv finally grasped air, explaining him the situation.
'May i have a look at the paper.'.
'Wait for a while. It has gone for our biological testing to find more details about the paper. It is the only thing that we have. We cant even show his body to someone as it will just create nuisance and will bring bad reputation for the country as we can't even protect our national pride. Well you must be tired after coming from such a long journey. Sit down and have a cup of tea. We discuss things after a while. Hope you did not have any problem?'
'Not at all. Just was a bit surprised why i was being called so urgently.'
Rajiv picked up the phone and ordered for Tea and even talked something about a document. Tea arrived soon. Dhruv who came from such a long journey was relishing it. He was too tired and needed a break. After a while, a person entered the room. He got a metal frame. He kept it on a desk and went. Dhruv kept his glass of tea, and began scrutinizing what was written on the paper. He was looking at it with perfect concentration. Finally shooking his head.
'Does this paper make any sense to you, professor?.'
'This is an Indian Writing probably dating some 5 centuries ago. The language is called Devoshabd. It is first proper language that was developed still known by us. But there are just handful of them who know it and that handful is too little and very rare to find. People say such scripts can only be read by great saints and have got words from the God. Unfortunately, i don't have much information about this language. '
'That is not a good news.!! Do you know some one who could help us. You are from this field. You must be having some knowledge.'
'I just knew one, and that person lies dead. Its Guruji. He was a perfect contact for all such languages. He mastered all the old Indian languages and learnt a lot when he visited places. He used to say that even clildren have got a language. Just that this world can never understand it. '
'So there is no way that we can find the truth, behind his death?', Rajiv eagerly asked.
'Wait. Might be i know someone who knows just this language. Yes, she was made for this day.'

Chapter 2: At the ministry

As soon as the plane landed on the airport, Dhruv got out of the plane and found that a car was waiting for him. He immediately got into the car and the car moved off.
The driver said 'Hi Sir, i am Raghav, i will company you and your stay here. Where ever you want to go, whatever you want, i will help you out. Who are you and where have you come from?'
'I am Professor Dhruv. I teach at the Indian Institute of Science. I was called by the ministry and got no idea why i am called here?'
Raghav was puzzled. He was the driver of all the guest visitor for the ministry. He had handled many visitors but have never heard of such a thing. He replied, 'It must be something important, otherwise the ministry never calls people for no reason. Well i will take you to the office as i was instructed to do so.'
The car moved rapidly on the roads of Delhi. It was not the first time that Dhruv has come to Delhi, but the streets never seemed so puzzled as he was feeling now. He was all in his dreams and imagining all the things that he could think of but could not find one proper reason why he was being called so urgently. He thought it might be some new place that the ministry had found out, some ancient place. But there were so many others and better than him who had a perfect touch on all such things. Delhi was full of such people. Then why was he called from such a far off place.
As he was thinking, the car reached their destination and stopped. Dhruv got out from the car.
'I will wait here for you outside. Then we will go to the hotel where you can stay', Raghav informed.
As soon as he entered the Building, he was received by the receptionist.
'Are you Professor Dhruv from Bangalore? Mr Rajiv has been waiting for you from a long time. Please wait till i inform him.'
Mr Rajiv, the Internal Affairs minister, was a well known personality. He has been one of the most bold, Shrewd and the toughest person in the ministry. He was well known for all his decisions and the way those decisions have benefited the Country. The common man loved him. But there were people, who used to hate him because his policies always were against the business community and Pro common man.
Dhruv waited for a while and then he got to see the man. A tall, Handsome person in Thirties.
'Hi i am Rajiv Sundar.'
'Hey hi. I am professor Dhruv. I have been wanting to meet you from a long time. I am a big fan of yours......'
'These days politicians hardly get any fans. Anyways thanks for your comments. Come with me, i have something to show you.'
Both the people with Honor moved together, where walks represented the background they have come from. One with Dreams, high hopes, and charm had his head high where as the other one with a lot of experience, ground to earth and serving his people had his head straight indicating the direction he wants to go.
'Are you not afraid of losing the next election. There are many who don't want to see you again in power.', Dhruv asked.
'You know what, i was just twelve when i heard that my parents were killed because he was not in the favor of the popular capitalism. I did not even see his dying face. I did not even shed a tear that time. People who know me never ask such a question. Follow me. '.
As soon as they entered the private room, Rajiv moved quickly towards one of the corner where there was a window. He opened the window and peeped in his head. It was not a normal window. As Dhruv moved, near the window, he found that it has got a Retina Scanner. He was amazed. In seconds a door opened up, which led to an underground hall. Rajiv entered the place and Druv followed him with surprise. The hall was full of people working on computers. Talking to each other and wishing the minister.
The room was an automated Safety Zone, where there were lazers put on every where, in case there was an intruder. There were huge machines working with different levels of noise. Dhruv could see the data that they were working on one of the systems. It was analysing the sites being browesed by the Indians every second and it would give the eport of the people who were suspected of something evil. Poeple usually say that Indain Defence is really weak and finding such gadgets were a total surprise pack for the Professor.
'What is all this? Who r these people and what are they doing?', Dhruv was shocked.
'This is a secret chamber were we work on a number of highly confidential data. It is centre of Indian Sciences. It has got the most advanced systeems in the entire nation. It is not just America which is advancing. We too are well built, just that no one knows it. Now no more question. Time has come for me to show you why are you called here. Come with me', Rajiv replied.
Dhruv was still wondering the entire place. He always imagined such a place to be an American secret Agency such as FBI and NSAs. He was simply amazed by the Scene.
Both of them took the lift and went three floors down. The whole place was secured and even the lift did not work without the passwords. Dhruv checked his cell phone, but it was not working. As the lift stopped, and the gate open, both of them entered a fuly lit room. It seemed to be some Biological labrotary. And suddenly both of them stopped and Dhruv lost the ground when he saw something which he could never believe from his naked eyes. 'How could this happen!!!!'

Beginning

Early in the morning, the phone ranged.
'Is it Mr Dhruv.'.
'Ya it is Dhruv here. May i know who is this.'
'We are speaking from the Ministry of internal Affairs. We need some help from you. Can you reach Delhi as early as possible. We have hired a plane for you. Be there at the airport by 9 and see that the talk remains between us. '
'But what is it regarding?'
'It would be informed to you once you reach here.' and the phone got cut.
Dhruv is one of the most leading professors who is working on arts, science and artifacts and also deals with the human history. He is a full time lecturer at Indian Institute of Science and is also a part time researcher. He is currently working on Ancient Indian Culture and Civilization and has written a number of books.
Professor Dhruv have never got a call like this and that too in such an emergency. While he was getting ready, he had just one thing in his mind, why did the ministry call him up under such a short notice. He was completely puzzled, the way the caller behaved.
He got ready soon, and went to the Bangalore International Airport. He was there on time. As soon as he reached, two men in black blazers came to him and took him aside. They went to a vacant area. This area was the 12th runway which was never used by planes. A plane was waiting for him there. He along with the other two, got inside the plane. Professor Dhruv was still confused what was going on. HE tried talking to the people around him.
'HI i am professor Dhruv. Do you have any idea why am i being summoned on such a short notice.'
'Sir, we know about you and has been following you from the last twenty four hours. You need not know about us, and why are you being called? Well, you will get to know once you reach there. Neither we have more information regarding this nor are we allowed to disclose more than what i said'.
Professor understood the answer. The rest of the two and a half hour journey went on silently. Dhruv was really nervous as he has faced many difficult situations in his career but was never so confused as he was now. He was just waiting for his destination to come, so that he could get all the answers to his questions. Every ticking second raised his vigor to know what is lying ahead.
