The Nalanda Notes

Rajiv was finally getting into something. He was looking into the eyes of Dhruv. Dhruv could make out that there is something that they will be in some moments. 'Dhruv, I want you to go to Nalanda and visit the place. Tell me what u find there and report me immediately if you find something difficult. Take Priyanka with you. She might be o a lot of help as she knows how to read the ancient sculptures. We have our men there, who would be with you all the time, in informal dresses. Just shout if u are in Danger. The help would come soon. I will arrange for the seats in the Next flight to Patna. Get going soon and report me back immediately. 'Dhruv went out. The car was waiting for him. After a few moments, Priyanka joined him in the car. And the car started rolling fast. 'What do you think, what was the plot all about for which Guru ji gave is life', Dhruv Asked Priyanka. ‘Guruji was not a weak person and neither a fearful mammoth. He had Power, courage and the needed wisdom to save him. If he let his life go easily for a reason, and this reason can only be found once we reach Nalanda.’

‘Hope we get something out there. This is the only place where we can find something about him. He has spent a lot of time there, preaching religion.’ Dhruv exclaimed. The two reached the Airport People were waiting there to receive them .They got their tickets and they board the place. In two hours they reached Patna. As soon as they got there, they check out of the airport and caught a Taxi for going to Nalanda. It took them some 3 hours to reach there.

Nalanda was a very old place. All the things were in ruins except a few of the new buildings which showed that things have progressed here. Life of the people was simple and does not seem to be really modern. It was a dry hot day with a few trees around, the little breeze around seemed to take away the last drop of water inside the body. The scene around seemed to be an exact sample of an Indian Sub town. All thella wallas around. People were buying and selling things in Shops. Bargaining was hot and everything was going normal before these people reached there. Priyanka was wearing a very city like attire which is usually not seen in the villages. Guys were staring as we moved in the hot sun. I was feeling the pinch when I was looking at Priyanka and the sweat on her face, making her look hotter than ever. ‘Priyanka, you must have got some other dress to cool down the people here. All seemed to be very much impressed about your attire including me.’

‘I guess you are right Dhruv. Once we reach Hotel, I will change. ‘, Priyanka feeling shy, briefed.

In some ten minutes. They got a Hotel. It was an unusual one. All fans around with most of them not working. ‘Can we get two single rooms here? We need the best one around’, Dhruv asked the Manager of the Hotel.

The Manager was a person full in Tatters. His Shabby clothes explained how good the hotel would be. But this village cannot have a better one for its visitors. The Manager checked the register and gave them keys to two of the rooms. They went to the first floor to their respective rooms to rest a while, before they begin their journey to find the things they themselves don’t know. Dhruv asked Priyanka to get ready soon so that they can have a look the scene around in Nalanda and make themselves familiar to the place.

Around five o’ clock, Priyanka Knocked Dhruv’s door to wake him up. Dhruv was already ready with a few sheets of paper. He prepared a check list for both of them. ‘Priyanka, our first step is to get a hook up with the local people. Then we might have a look at the Nalanda site today in the evening. ’

‘Ok, let’s go then.’

Chapter 8: The meet of the ends

'What holds ahead for us, probably could never be expected', Dhruv was murmuring to himself, thinking of all the adventures he ha been through. 'Don't worry Dhruv, things would be fine once Vishwa ji is here. He is a good friend of mine and i know, we will get to know about him as much as we can. But never tell him the things which we were discussing. We still need more time to tell things to others. Let it be like, we know he is kidnapped and things like that.'
'What if he asks why am i here?'
'Because you are an expect in Historic facts and we think that someone wants something very precious thing from him which is not known to many people. You are helping us in this assignment. Here comes the airport. I guess he has already landed on the airport.'
As soon as the duo went inside, they saw Vishwa ji was coming towards them. Dhruv was pleased to see Vishwa ji as he was seeing him for the first time, live. He was just the way he had imagined him to be. Fresh, Young and modern. Though he was with Guruji all the time, he was not like the other saints who wear Khaki and look different from the rest. He was looking exactly like the rest.
'Hi Vishwa ji, Welcome. Sorry could not receive you on time, after forcing you to come on such a short notice. You must be knowing that Guruji is missing and still not found. We need more information about him. Probably this would help us to speed up the inquiry. I am personally looking at the dealings of it', Rajiv explained.
'He is my lord and if i am standing here, it is because of him. You know the intricacies if him being missing from such a long time. Probably we can discuss the rest once we reach a good place to discuss such things.'
'Well said Vishwa ji, lets go.'
And the trio moved to the car and went on.
They reached the office back. They got down and came to a meeting room. Rajiv called up and asked everyone not to disturb him. 'Would you like to have something, Vishwa ji.'
'no nothing, thanks Rajiv. Probably we can discuss what we are here for. Who is this Mr., Hi.'
'He is Dhruv, a teacher by profession but even a person very much interested in monuments and artifacts. A historian. He is helping us in this mission. ', Rajiv introduced Dhruv to him.
'Lets start then. What we got to know from our reliable sources that some one has kidnapped him for something which holds a great historical meaning. Now that this particular party wants it, i want you to tell me what is that something, which they want to find.'
'Who are these people you are referring to?'
'The Mandyas. I heard he was writing something about them.'
'Let me assure toy. There is nothing he could have defied. He is a good man and does not believe in falling into violence. They thought so but we solved the problem by talking to them. I think it is someone else. Someone more powerful. It can't be someone so common. No one gains anything by kidnapping him. He has written a number of things but it was always to spread harmony and peace not to disrupt them. I heard a number of things from the other people in Nalanda, and are his followers like me. Some of them say that he was not kidnapped, but shot. I don't know ow far the story is true, but i do firmly believe that your department is not working fine and simply blaming Guruji for his work.', Vishwa ji exclaimed.
'Its not true. We are working day and night to find who is behind it. You can't just blame us for it and our work', Dhruv said.
'Probably then i can't help you any more. You people are not ready to work harder, or do not realize the gravity of the situation. Sorry but i can't help such irresponsible people. ', Vishwa ji told both of them, 'Rajiv i got to leave now. Can you please arrange for a car so that i can move back to the Ashram in Delhi.'
'Sure, but..', Rajiv was looking disappointed.
Vishwa ji moved fast and and left the place.
'Come on Dhruv lets go. There is something we got to plan.'

Chapter 7: Vishwa Ji

In the rough patch of desert near Jaiselmer, there existed a track, a track hardly used by the planes. It was fully covered with the pinching sands of Rajasthan. It was difficult to imagine something could even land there. Suddenly, a plane hovered around it and was coming towards the track. It seemed like it will land here and finally it did. The huge noise of the landing could probably be heard from a long distance, but there was no one to even lend eyes to such a loud bang. Eventually the plane comes to a halt. Three people came out, and as soon as they came out, the plane was ready to leave and it made its way out of that place. one of the man was in beard, looking like a saint and the other two were strong men, with proper clothes on. The old man makes a call and talks, 'Make a quick arrangement for me to go to Delhi Again, the Ministry expects me there. And please, let no one know about my trip here.'. The call was disconnected and the trio went to the car waiting for them outside. They packed in and the car rolled on.
'There is a terrible news for you, Vishwa ji. Guruji is no more with us. He demised two days back. It was decided not to disturb you during the trip. Thus no one informed you. He died after he burned the Ajarved. His body is yet to be found and we are all worried, about the people who are getting involved in this. So you were called here and a few major members are here to discuss the situation with you. ', The driver took a long breathe and relaxed.
'Why was i not informed about this situation. Things have acted so crazily. Do u people realize the gravity of the situation or just want to be a worthless organization. You people should have at least said something. Any news with the police?'
'He was seen being shooted at, after he burnt the book.Police says, they are still searching for him. It seems all the proves were removed from the place. it is still not released to the public about him. This could create panic and the situations are not good right now in India to discuss his absence.'
'I understand'. And then the talks came to a standstill with the sound of the car motor more vibrant then before. They were fast approaching their destination. Near the border of Pakistan, lies a small village of old men and Women. Outside the village, lies a cottage. The car stopped there. There were a few people waiting for them. As soon as they arrived, all of them except the security with old man stayed outside.
'Sorry Vishwa ji but we did not have any other choice, informing you and calling you here to India would be very dangerous as people would realize what is going on and the people who took his body would be more conscious about us and specially you. So it was rather decided not to inform you. But now the situation has come very grave. His body is no where to be found and so is the person who hit him. The book was found burnt, though the ashes were not found as we saw it burning. We thought, you were the best person to take his place. So we unanimously took a decision about you and have chosen you as our president.'
'Thanks for all the hope and support. I really don't know whether i would be able to take Guruji's place but i will try my level best to support the cause which he always did. He was a great man. My mentor, my soul and my guiding star. Probably he would not like me to be weak. Lets swear by this day, his hopes and our Organization is able to serve the mission we always live for.'
The people parted and Vishwa ji was back to the plane which took him. And he left again.

Chapter 6: The page

Rajiv stopped at the place were a document was lying open and unattended. He asked others to just come there and have a look at it. Priyanka who was busy checking all the things which were kept there and commenting about them and Dhruv who was just listening to her, came to that place. Rajiv points towards the document and both of them have a look at it. Priyanka wears one of the gloves kept beside the document, lifts the document and started looking at it carefully. Rajiv though apprehensive about Priyanka being able to handle the document, does not stop her handling the thing. She had a good look at the document. She was carefully analyzing the document. Her face seemed to say thousand words as if her found something and a moment later, it just seemed like she was lost somewhere.
'Does something make sense here, Priyanka?', Dhruv was eager to know.
'It seems that its a very old script, perhaps one of the oldest that i have ever seen. These inscriptions does mean a lot but are not complete and nothing can be assumed from it. Though i know this language, but need to refer my notes. I learn t this language from Guruji. He always loved me like his own daughter and helped me learn these languages. But where did you get this thing?', She explained.
'We got it somewhere lying and thought it was of great importance. Can you please tell us what does it mean by referring your notes?', Rajiv was waiting for a positive answer.
'Wait, can i assess a computer here. I just need to check my online document which is having all this information.'
'Wait i will arrange something for you. Come here.' and saying this Rajiv took her to a chamber where she could see a laptop and a person working on it. Rajiv asked that person to take a break and that he needed the system for a while. The person left locked his account, opened a guest account and left. She took the system, logged on to her g mail account and opened a Document. She started writing some notes on the notepad and finally she gave a look at what she has written. She did not understand what it really meant. She was thoroughly confused. She asked the minister, 'are you sure you found this document or you are hiding away something from me. The information that you are reading here does not seem to be found on some place. It seems that the page is from a very old book. A very important book.'
'It is from a book that is not known to anyone a book which was found in Nalanda ruins.'
'And this is the reason why you were threatening me. Well, i don't digest the thing you said me. Tell me the truth, and might be you find more help from me.'
'Fine then, get it. This was found was the dead body of Guruji. He burnt a book and this is the only page.'
Priyanka was shocked. She felt as if she was struck with a heavy blow. 'He brought me up when i lost my parents. I was just ten that time. He funded my education. He taught me things. He always used to say that i was a brave girl and that i can bear any pain and beat any one. He lied to me. I am just feeling nowhere. And how could you people say that you are still searching for him. Why don.t you come to the public with the truth. Damn Politicians'
'What the hell do you think we politician do. We pocket money and take advantage of the situations to put our oppositions down. No one understands that it is one of the toughest jobs. We represent this nation. We have pressures to run this nation. And not just that, every minute people wait to just say that we are bad. What do you think will happen if i come up with the truth. One political turmoil, public violence and then everything tore down apart in this nation. Do you understand these things before asking me to do something of this sort. Our country has been very much sensitive to such things and there are people who just love to break our country. Its with has and within us', Rajiv pour down on her, 'now the only way to know what did Guruji want to hide from us and why did he want to, everything lies in that paper and we want to know that.'
'Relax Priyanka, just tell us what does this document mean.'
She calmed down. Dhruv brought her some water from the bottle kept nearby. She had a sip, closed her eyes for a while and then stared at Rajiv and Dhruv, 'This paper is old, and actually very old as i mentioned. It just means a lot bu is not complete. It means that whatever we are told is not true. Whatever is written to be our religion though hold a lot of meaning and base but is not exactly what it is supposed to be. The truth lies' and priyanka taking a long breathe, 'This is what is written in that document. It is just a part. Now that explains a lot why the book was so important to Guruji and why did he try to burn that away.'
'But still the mystery persist what else was there in that book and what is the lie that we all believe in.'
'I guess the best person to answer this is Vishwa ji. I heard he is a great follower of Guruji and has got answers to a lot of things. He used to help him in almost everything. He is coming tomorrow morning from Paris.'
'Fine, Priyanka you stay here and no going home. Dhruv, you are also staying here. I will ask the driver to leave now. And about Vishwa ji, i will make sure that we meet him before he makes some other plans.'

Chapter 5: The meeting

Every one was looking grave. Their face down, as if wanting to say something but picked with a feeling that things are not right. The dark hall was reflecting their images with dim lights all around. The place just had a few chairs and a roound table where the fallen faces of the grave men lie. Finally the silence was broken with a white beard man aged some where close to 75, 'I would agree that the demise of Guruji is a great loss to us, but that does not mean we sit back and do nothing. His demise has got us with more responsibilities. He was not just our mentor, our leader but a great visoinary who led us to the path of God and made us understand what is right and wrong.'
'Strangely, though we saw him that we was it by a person, his body was not found neither there has been some investigation put forward. The police has just said that he is missing and they are trying to find him out. Neither of us can go out nor we can put some one forward who could say that he is killed. The conditions of the country are very volatile and any such information would lead to voilence and jeopardise in the entire region. More killing and more bloodshed, the least our Guruji would have wanted. What shall we do.', the speaker went silent.
'The first thing that we could do is choosing a leader who would guide us with the proceedings.'
'I guess, Vishwa ji would be the best person to lead us in such a moment of disgrace. He is a man who used to help Guruji in all his works. He helped him acheive things. He was not scared of the politicians and their foul means. He got contacts among the top leaders and the industrialists in the country who could be of great help in our cause. '
Everyone nodded their heads in agreement.
'I have the similar views. He is the person who could give us a head start in such a case. but where is he now? Is he informed of the dealings here?'
'Ya he is and he is just coming by as soon as possible. He would be able to make for the meeting tomorrow. This place is no longer safe, we shall change the meeting location and i would bring Vishwa ji to the new place. Lets meet up at the jatuka Ghar. That place is far more remorse and inside and its easier to stay away from others now who might be looking for us. The death of Guruji must be known to others who now have got the clues about us.'
'And what happened to that book, which Guruji was having. It has got the secrets which we never want to reveal to the other world. '
'I am sure, the last things Guruji must have done is to destroy the book. But lets not take chances. IN tomorrow's meeting we shall decide the future course of the things and try to let a team search for it. '

Chapter 4 Whats Written?

After the classes got over, all the students were out of the class except two on two corners. The boy came near the girl and saw the girl doing something crazy. The girl was reading some old book with some unknown scribblings. The boy thought of having some fun, took the book and ran away. The girl asked to return the book but with a negative result. Soon, the girl started fighting and in no time the boy was lying on the floor. And the girl gave him a warning, 'Never mess with me or either you never see yourself again'. The guy was simply staring at the girl without a response. He never knew that a girl could be so strong to out fit him. He never spoke to that girl again, though the girl tried enough to befriend him. Might be he was afraid to believe the truth that he lost to a feminine character.
After eight years, that girl again flashed in his minds and the things that happened between them once upon a time. Dhruv knew that girl and read a lot about her. 'She has been into these kinds of language and stuffs. I believe she could help us a lot. She knows a lot of these languages and might even know what is written here and let us know why and for what did he tried to run away.', Dhruv exclaimed.
'Who is she?'
'She is Priyanka. A superb Journalist working for News today channel. You might have seen her on Television. She is well known for her documentaries on the frauds and Scandals that these famous Mahatmas used to do and find the truth behind them.'
'Ya, now i remember, the girl who speaks thousand language that no one understands. I got a chance to be with her and found that she talks a lot to her. Well then, lets not waste time and call her up immediately. Do u have any contacts with her?'
'No not really. We were class mates and after that we parted our ways.'
'Oh i see, Fine. Give me 30 minutes while she comes. Till that time lets go and have something. I am a hungry man now. And its 2 now.'
Both of them came to a room where food was being served. People were staring at Dhruv as he has not known there. There were hardly some 30 people including the minister. All the people knew each other really well. A new face was hardly seen in that place. Rajiv picked the telephone, placed on the corner of the Lounge and entered some numbers. He called up someone to help him out with Priyanka, the Journalist and to bring her to his office immediately.
Priyanka used to stay in Delhi. She was born and brought up in the streets of Delhi and the people here. After Dhruv's Father's death, he was brought to Delhi by one of his Father's friend. That is how they came to the same place "Delhi College of arts and Science".
After these people were done with their food, they came out of that secret place to enter Rajiv's Office. In some time, Dhruv could here an Auto coming and Stopping outside. His heart was beating fast, to know how she was, a girl who could beat her in a while.
Priyanka, got down from her Auto and came to the reception. She was asked to go to the Minister's room. As soon as she entered, she was surprised.
'Dhruv? How come you are here. Hi sir, i am Priyanka. Hope you remember me. Why am i called here.'
'Hi Priyanka.', Dhruv sneeked in. He could see a beautiful Woman standing infront of her. Her glowing eyes and her rosy lips, her perfect shape and her beautiful pony hair tail, was enough to make a gut like Dhruv to just stare at her. Dhruv lost his senses completely.
'Hi priyanka, take your seat. Now we are going to discuss something which is really important. It requires you to leave ur job of a journalist for a while as it needs closed lips when u leave this place.', Rajiv said in a strong command of the situation.
'May i know what is such a thing that i am asked to do such a thing.?'
'Well remember one thing, i know the hard ways of looking at things and you would be lost if you open your mouth outside.'
It was time for the trio to go back to the place where the mystery would reveal itself. Priyanka, though very much accustomed to such situations, was walking puzzled. Rajiv asked Priyanka, ‘Can I see your phone?’ She did not wait for a minute before handling the phone to the Minister. Rajiv dropped the phone into his pocket and kept walking as if nothing has happened, making no sense to her, of what he was doing. They reached the same place where the minister and Rajiv were a few minutes earlier. The same thing happened repeating again. This time it has a new face to stare at what was happening. They went inside and kept walking. Priyanka could look at the highly sophisticated instruments which were used here. She had the same intensity as Dhruv felt when he came here for the first time. She was awestruck. There were a number of highly sophisticated machines were a number of people worked to ensure things were working fine. The look and feel of the place was no less than a Hollywood movie where Tom Cruise would have worked. The entire vision was a treat to the eyes. Surrounded by one side glasses, with a solid metal base and the lights placed in the most efficient and the best place, the work environment was dazzling. The three this time, went down using the lift nearby and in a few seconds reached a place which was looking like a museum. The place was full of glass caged documents, artefacts and things which seemed to make a lot of impact on the history of the world. ‘Here lays the document containing the planning made by the Indus civilization to build their cities. The controversial document which Pakistan asked for saying that it belonged to them and India had stolen it from him and later the document was never found and so were the people who found it. Oh and look at this. What the hell!!! We still have this thing with us. The lost specimen of Dwarika Nagari. The world needed to see it and the treause is hidden here', Priyanka was fuming. Dhruv was just following them.
'Let not these things ride ou away from the thing we have come here. There are a lot more surprise and they are not for public display. Come here and see what i brought here for.'

Chapter 3: The Scene

'Why will some one kill him. He is a Saint. I used to listen to him every time i felt low. Oh! Guruji'. Dhruv was looking at the dead body of Mahatma Swaminanda Ji. He is well known as Guruji. People loved him because of his simplicity and his devout to God. He was missing from the last two days. Police was searching him and his body lied here calmly, as if it was speaking thousand words. Every one in that room was silent. Dhruv and Rajiv were looking at the Dead body and others were looking at their faces.
'Professor, i know its a shock for you, but believe me none of us wanted this to happen. It was a coincidence. And to reveal the mystery had Guruji has always buried inside his heart, i called you here.'
'But who killed him and why? Are you people someway related to this death?'
'This happened two days ago. One of our security Guards, was stationed at the Nalanda institute, which is now ruins. This day he finds some five to seven men entering the place and later none was visible. The guard was confused. He searched for the people all day long but could not get any of them. Later in the evening, he finds someone walking near the same place. He calls that person, but the person runs. He is holding a book with him. The guard thought he is stealing something from this place. He asks the person to stop otherwise he gives warning that he will shoot. The person speed ed up. The guard was confused and fired on his leg. The same time that person bow down and threw the book into the fire burning nearby. The bullet hit his back and the person stumbled to death. Later the Guard found it was Guruji. When he saw the book, he just found a page which was not burnt. He got the entire set of the ashes with himself. There are bits and pieces left. But the mystery is, what was contained in that book that Guruji did not stop even at the warning. Who were those people. The page we found, was written in an old Indian language and makes little sense to us. I have read a number of Journals written by you regarding such languages which used to exist. I thought, you would be the best person to be called.', Rajiv finally grasped air, explaining him the situation.
'May i have a look at the paper.'.
'Wait for a while. It has gone for our biological testing to find more details about the paper. It is the only thing that we have. We cant even show his body to someone as it will just create nuisance and will bring bad reputation for the country as we can't even protect our national pride. Well you must be tired after coming from such a long journey. Sit down and have a cup of tea. We discuss things after a while. Hope you did not have any problem?'
'Not at all. Just was a bit surprised why i was being called so urgently.'
Rajiv picked up the phone and ordered for Tea and even talked something about a document. Tea arrived soon. Dhruv who came from such a long journey was relishing it. He was too tired and needed a break. After a while, a person entered the room. He got a metal frame. He kept it on a desk and went. Dhruv kept his glass of tea, and began scrutinizing what was written on the paper. He was looking at it with perfect concentration. Finally shooking his head.
'Does this paper make any sense to you, professor?.'
'This is an Indian Writing probably dating some 5 centuries ago. The language is called Devoshabd. It is first proper language that was developed still known by us. But there are just handful of them who know it and that handful is too little and very rare to find. People say such scripts can only be read by great saints and have got words from the God. Unfortunately, i don't have much information about this language. '
'That is not a good news.!! Do you know some one who could help us. You are from this field. You must be having some knowledge.'
'I just knew one, and that person lies dead. Its Guruji. He was a perfect contact for all such languages. He mastered all the old Indian languages and learnt a lot when he visited places. He used to say that even clildren have got a language. Just that this world can never understand it. '
'So there is no way that we can find the truth, behind his death?', Rajiv eagerly asked.
'Wait. Might be i know someone who knows just this language. Yes, she was made for this day.'

Chapter 2: At the ministry

As soon as the plane landed on the airport, Dhruv got out of the plane and found that a car was waiting for him. He immediately got into the car and the car moved off.
The driver said 'Hi Sir, i am Raghav, i will company you and your stay here. Where ever you want to go, whatever you want, i will help you out. Who are you and where have you come from?'
'I am Professor Dhruv. I teach at the Indian Institute of Science. I was called by the ministry and got no idea why i am called here?'
Raghav was puzzled. He was the driver of all the guest visitor for the ministry. He had handled many visitors but have never heard of such a thing. He replied, 'It must be something important, otherwise the ministry never calls people for no reason. Well i will take you to the office as i was instructed to do so.'
The car moved rapidly on the roads of Delhi. It was not the first time that Dhruv has come to Delhi, but the streets never seemed so puzzled as he was feeling now. He was all in his dreams and imagining all the things that he could think of but could not find one proper reason why he was being called so urgently. He thought it might be some new place that the ministry had found out, some ancient place. But there were so many others and better than him who had a perfect touch on all such things. Delhi was full of such people. Then why was he called from such a far off place.
As he was thinking, the car reached their destination and stopped. Dhruv got out from the car.
'I will wait here for you outside. Then we will go to the hotel where you can stay', Raghav informed.
As soon as he entered the Building, he was received by the receptionist.
'Are you Professor Dhruv from Bangalore? Mr Rajiv has been waiting for you from a long time. Please wait till i inform him.'
Mr Rajiv, the Internal Affairs minister, was a well known personality. He has been one of the most bold, Shrewd and the toughest person in the ministry. He was well known for all his decisions and the way those decisions have benefited the Country. The common man loved him. But there were people, who used to hate him because his policies always were against the business community and Pro common man.
Dhruv waited for a while and then he got to see the man. A tall, Handsome person in Thirties.
'Hi i am Rajiv Sundar.'
'Hey hi. I am professor Dhruv. I have been wanting to meet you from a long time. I am a big fan of yours......'
'These days politicians hardly get any fans. Anyways thanks for your comments. Come with me, i have something to show you.'
Both the people with Honor moved together, where walks represented the background they have come from. One with Dreams, high hopes, and charm had his head high where as the other one with a lot of experience, ground to earth and serving his people had his head straight indicating the direction he wants to go.
'Are you not afraid of losing the next election. There are many who don't want to see you again in power.', Dhruv asked.
'You know what, i was just twelve when i heard that my parents were killed because he was not in the favor of the popular capitalism. I did not even see his dying face. I did not even shed a tear that time. People who know me never ask such a question. Follow me. '.
As soon as they entered the private room, Rajiv moved quickly towards one of the corner where there was a window. He opened the window and peeped in his head. It was not a normal window. As Dhruv moved, near the window, he found that it has got a Retina Scanner. He was amazed. In seconds a door opened up, which led to an underground hall. Rajiv entered the place and Druv followed him with surprise. The hall was full of people working on computers. Talking to each other and wishing the minister.
The room was an automated Safety Zone, where there were lazers put on every where, in case there was an intruder. There were huge machines working with different levels of noise. Dhruv could see the data that they were working on one of the systems. It was analysing the sites being browesed by the Indians every second and it would give the eport of the people who were suspected of something evil. Poeple usually say that Indain Defence is really weak and finding such gadgets were a total surprise pack for the Professor.
'What is all this? Who r these people and what are they doing?', Dhruv was shocked.
'This is a secret chamber were we work on a number of highly confidential data. It is centre of Indian Sciences. It has got the most advanced systeems in the entire nation. It is not just America which is advancing. We too are well built, just that no one knows it. Now no more question. Time has come for me to show you why are you called here. Come with me', Rajiv replied.
Dhruv was still wondering the entire place. He always imagined such a place to be an American secret Agency such as FBI and NSAs. He was simply amazed by the Scene.
Both of them took the lift and went three floors down. The whole place was secured and even the lift did not work without the passwords. Dhruv checked his cell phone, but it was not working. As the lift stopped, and the gate open, both of them entered a fuly lit room. It seemed to be some Biological labrotary. And suddenly both of them stopped and Dhruv lost the ground when he saw something which he could never believe from his naked eyes. 'How could this happen!!!!'

Beginning

Early in the morning, the phone ranged.
'Is it Mr Dhruv.'.
'Ya it is Dhruv here. May i know who is this.'
'We are speaking from the Ministry of internal Affairs. We need some help from you. Can you reach Delhi as early as possible. We have hired a plane for you. Be there at the airport by 9 and see that the talk remains between us. '
'But what is it regarding?'
'It would be informed to you once you reach here.' and the phone got cut.
Dhruv is one of the most leading professors who is working on arts, science and artifacts and also deals with the human history. He is a full time lecturer at Indian Institute of Science and is also a part time researcher. He is currently working on Ancient Indian Culture and Civilization and has written a number of books.
Professor Dhruv have never got a call like this and that too in such an emergency. While he was getting ready, he had just one thing in his mind, why did the ministry call him up under such a short notice. He was completely puzzled, the way the caller behaved.
He got ready soon, and went to the Bangalore International Airport. He was there on time. As soon as he reached, two men in black blazers came to him and took him aside. They went to a vacant area. This area was the 12th runway which was never used by planes. A plane was waiting for him there. He along with the other two, got inside the plane. Professor Dhruv was still confused what was going on. HE tried talking to the people around him.
'HI i am professor Dhruv. Do you have any idea why am i being summoned on such a short notice.'
'Sir, we know about you and has been following you from the last twenty four hours. You need not know about us, and why are you being called? Well, you will get to know once you reach there. Neither we have more information regarding this nor are we allowed to disclose more than what i said'.
Professor understood the answer. The rest of the two and a half hour journey went on silently. Dhruv was really nervous as he has faced many difficult situations in his career but was never so confused as he was now. He was just waiting for his destination to come, so that he could get all the answers to his questions. Every ticking second raised his vigor to know what is lying ahead.
